Today, on 10 October 2026, THE FORGE officially established its Chapter at Kwame Nkrumah University — an important milestone in expanding the organisation's presence across higher education institutions.
The inaugural meeting brought together Chapter members and the Founder and President of THE FORGE, Mr. Dalitsani Banda, to discuss the Chapter's purpose, responsibilities and strategic direction.
Members were encouraged to uphold THE FORGE's vision, demonstrate commitment and accountability, and work collectively towards connecting students with opportunities in leadership, entrepreneurship, professional development and industry engagement.
Mr. Banda outlined the purpose and objectives of the Chapter, emphasising the importance of translating the organisation's vision into practical initiatives that benefit students. Members also highlighted the need to engage students across the university's schools and academic departments, including students with disabilities.
As an institutional extension of THE FORGE, the Chapter will operate within the organisation's broader framework, working alongside other Chapters to advance a shared mission. Its next priority is to strengthen its internal structures, clarify responsibilities, encourage student participation, and develop initiatives aligned with THE FORGE's objectives.
The establishment marks the beginning of a journey that will require teamwork, discipline and consistent action. With a shared vision and collective responsibility, the Chapter is positioned to contribute to THE FORGE's growing network of institutional platforms.
